KooDong is funded by advertising so that our articles can remain free for readers. This page explains how we handle advertising.

How ads are served

Ads on the Site are served by Google AdSense. They are clearly labelled "Advertisement" and kept visually separate from editorial content so they cannot be mistaken for articles.

Editorial independence

Advertisers have no influence over which topics we cover, what we write or how we evaluate anything. We do not publish paid or sponsored articles. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly marked "Sponsored" in the title and at the top of the article.

Personalised ads and privacy

Google may use cookies to show ads based on your interests. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for more.

Reporting an ad

If you see an ad that seems inappropriate or misleading, email info@koodong.com with the page address. For Google ads you can also report the ad directly using the information icon in its corner.

No invalid clicks

Clicking ads repeatedly, or asking others to click them, violates Google's policies. We never ask readers to click on ads.
