Editorial Policy
The KooDong editorial team follows these principles so readers can trust what they read.
1. Accuracy
We verify facts against official sources first — government agencies, the Korea Tourism Organization, official statements from broadcasters and agencies, and the National Institute of Korean Language. For details that change often, such as prices and opening hours, we point readers to the official source so they can check the latest information.
2. How articles are made
Our team uses digital tools, including AI-assisted tools, for research, drafting and translation. Every article is checked for factual accuracy and clarity before publication and edited with one question in mind: is this genuinely useful to the reader?
3. Independence
Advertisers, agencies and brands have no say over our topics or content. If we ever receive a free product or sponsorship, we disclose it clearly in the article.
4. Opinion versus fact
Where an article includes our editors' views — on a drama or an album, for example — we make it clear that it is opinion.
5. Corrections and updates
When we find an error, we fix it promptly, and articles with significant changes show an updated date. Please report errors to info@koodong.com.
6. Images
We use royalty-free images licensed for commercial use, such as those from Pixabay, and credit them. We do not use official photos of celebrities or productions, out of respect for copyright.
