KooDong ("we", "us", "the Site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the rights you have. We aim to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698).

1. Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, subject, message and the IP address used to send it.
• Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time of visit, referring URL and cookie identifiers.

We do not offer user accounts and we never collect payment details or government identification numbers.

2. How we use information

• To answer your messages and handle correction requests
• To operate and secure the Site and prevent abuse
• To understand how readers use the Site and improve our content
• To show advertising through Google AdSense

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process data on the basis of your consent (advertising and analytics cookies), our legitimate interests (security, basic statistics) and, where you contact us, to respond to your request.

4. Retention

Contact messages are kept for one year after your enquiry is closed and then deleted. Server logs are kept for up to six months for security purposes, unless the law requires a longer period.

The Site is not directed at children under 14 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

We use HTTPS encryption, restricted administrator access and hashed passwords to protect information.
